Lasagna with a difference!
After we last one Petromax K4 box shape acquired and in consequence of which had already prepared some of cakes, bread and the like in it, we absolutely wanted to try a lasagna.
However, it should not be the classic version, it had to be something else. 😜 Said, after the subsequent refrigerator check we discovered a pack of sucuc (a Turkish garlic sausage). This should be the perfect basis for this dish 😊
So now our "sucuk cheese lasagna" in detail.
What you need
- 400 g sucuk (Turkish garlic sausage)
- 250 g pasta plates
- 200 ml of red wine
- 150 ml vegetable broth
- 100 ml water
- 1 carrot, 2 red onions
- Grated cheese of your choice
- Tomato paste, oregano, sweet pepper, turmeric, sugar, salt & pepper
- Petromax K4 (Dutch Oven)
Should you have one meat grinder It is easiest to peel the sucuk sausage and then turn it through the wolf. Alternatively, you can hack the whole but also just small.
First, the sucuk bolognese, as well as the cheese sauce are prepared. If you prefer to use a classic béchamel sauce, you can of course do it. The recipe for our cheese sauce, we have linked below, we now use this sauce for numerous dishes (Burgersoße, Pommes Dip, etc.).
For the sucuk bolognese, chop the onions and the carrot and sweat in a pot with the tomato paste and some oil. Then the sucuk hack is added and fried.
After sautéing, clear with red wine and let it reduce 3-4 minutes before adding the tomato, vegetable broth, water, oregano, paprika, turmeric and sugar. The Bolognese sauce must now simmer until a thick consistency arises.
Once the sauce has reached the desired consistency, you can taste it with salt and pepper.
The recipe for our cheese sauce you will find with this link.
Now is layered
Lubricate the box shape neatly (Tip: The quickest and easiest way is with a separating spray) and provide. You start now with the layers, to give you the first layer of lasagna plates in the box shape, these form the bottom of the lasagna.
Immediately afterwards comes the sucuk bolognese, which is spread over with a spoon. On the bolognese sauce comes the cheese sauce and is distributed again covering. Then the whole is again covered with a layer of lasange plates. Repeat this process until you reach the edge of the box shape. The last layer should form a layer of cheese sauce.
You are spoiled for choice now. Either give her the lasagna in yours preheated oven (at 180 ° C) or you use yours Gas grill (indirect heat) or simply glowing coals (Ca. 12 piece, 4 below / 8 above) to make the sucuk lasagna approx 40 - 45 minutes to bake for a long time. The lasagna is ready when the cheese shimmers golden brown.
