Cheese bratwurst with noodles from the fire pan

Bratwurst different, so you could describe our hearty hearty cheese bratwurst pan. 😋

After our last shopping trip, where we had a long-awaited Fire pan from Petromax have indulged, we came by accident at a sausage machine over. And honestly, homemade sausage and meat products from the local butcher taste delicious, who can resist? 🤗

So the idea came up to try something new with the offered cheese bratwurst. After a short search we found a base recipe (Käsekrainer pasta pot) and made it through peppy spices and ingredients, to our cheese bratwurst pan with noodles.

Of course you can also take any other sausage. Just add a little more cheese during the preparation.

What you need

  • 300 g pasta
  • 3 cheese roast sausages
  • 200 ml chunky tomatoes
  • 150 g of corn
  • 70 g cheese (Cheddar, Emmentaler, Gouda)
  • one garlic clove
  • 1 onion
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Salt, Pepper, Herbs, Pork Rub (Just Spices)
  • Optional: fire pan
With the vegetables you can vary and add other varieties or kidney beans with.

The noodles must be pre-cooked. In the rest of the recipe, we assume that you have already done this 😊

For the cheese bratwurst pan, the sausages are first cut into pieces (about 1 - 1,5 cm). Then the onion and garlic are peeled and minced.

The fried sausage pieces are sautéed in a pan until the onions are added and glassy sweat. When the onions are glassy, ​​add the minced garlic and sauté briefly.

After sweating, add the chopped tomatoes, rub, herbs and pepper and salt, mix well and let boil briefly. Then add the corn and pasta and mix well.

The pan must now simmer 3-4 minutes, over medium heat. Afterwards the cheese is added and lifted. When the cheese has melted, the mozzarella is distributed in the pan. The cheese bratwurst pan is ready when the mozzarella is gone.

  • 300 g noodles
  • 3 cheese sausages (Käsekrainer)
  • 200 ml chunky tomatoes
  • 150 g More

  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 onion
  • 1 mozarella
  • 1/2 TL salt
  • 1/2 TL pepper
  • 2 TL Rub (Pork Rub from Just Spices)


  1. Boil noodles.

  2. Cut sausages into pieces (about 1-1,5cm). Peel onion and garlic and chop finely.

  3. Fry bratwurst pieces in a pan until crispy. Add onions and sauté until they are glassy.

  4. Add garlic and sauté.

  5. Add chopped tomatoes, rub, herbs, pepper and salt and stir well. Bring to a boil.

  6. Add the corn and the pasta and mix well. Simmer all 3-4 minutes over medium heat.

  7. Add cheese and fold in.

  8. When the cheese has melted, spread the mozzarella in the pan.

  9. The cheese bratwurst pan is ready when the mozzarella is gone.
