Vegan Mett - delicious and hearty

Vegan Mett - Tasty and Hearty ❤️

Vegan Mett ??! 🤔
Yes this is possible and is also super tasty and quickly made.

What you need

  • 50 g rice waffles (half pack)
  • 2 small onions
  • 150-175 ml of water
  • 2-3 tablespoon tomato paste
  • salt & pepper
  • Pepper Cream (Optional)
  • Paprika Powder (Optional)
  • Minced meat / Hackepeter spice (Optional)
This recipe should simply be seen as a basic variant in which the spices can be adapted to your taste.

Preparation

First the rice wafers are crumbled and put into a bowl. Then pour the water into the bowl and leave everything to rest for 2-3 minutes.

In the meantime, the onions are peeled and minced. Once done, add the onions with the spices and tomato paste to the rice cakes in the bowl.

The entire mass is then kneaded with a fork (or a potato masher) and mixed until a uniformly colored mass is formed.

If the "Mett" is still too light for you, you can simply add some tomato paste.

TIP! The vegan Mett tastes best when it has been left in the fridge for at least five hours. 😋
